SAT Vocabulary Study
Your job is to present your assigned vocabulary words on your assigned days to the class for a quiz grade. IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO PRESENT ON YOUR ASSIGNED DAY OR IF YOU ARE ABSENT, YOU WILL RECEIVE A 0 FOR THE ASSIGNMENT. It is imperative for quizzing purposes that all students receive their words on time, so lateness is not an option. If you have an emergency situation arise, you will need to contact a friend in class and ask them to switch words with you.
Your job when presenting is as follows: Present the word (pronounced correctly), the part of speech, the definition, 1-3 synonyms, 1-3 antonyms, a sentence where the word is used and the source from where you found the sentence (you are not allowed to make your own sentences), and a visual or picture to represent the word. Basically, you will be giving your classmates all they need to fill in their vocabulary template from which they can study their words and prepare for vocabulary quizzes.
